My day away from the "Big City"

So this weekend I had been quiet busy. We decided to get away from the hectic roads of Edmonton and make our way down the road to go see my sister at college, which is only like an hour and 15 minutes away but though Red Deer wasn't hard to find, finding my sister's residence was almost impossible, but what didn't help was to have her yelling because we couldn't find it because she said that the college doesn't have an avenue on street or even an address, so what a great ordeal we had driving around a city that neither me or Lesley knew nothing about for more than an hour. How fun!
We were able to eventually find it and got to visit at her dorm for awhile, but I honestly don't know how she does it, he dorm must only be around 400 square feet and she shares it with another girl! At least there is a bathroom in it but honestly, there is no room to breathe! Lol. After that we hit the road off to my cousin Tim's, who lives in Rocky Mountain House, 45 minutes west of Red Deer. It was a mistake letting my sister drive though. She hadn't been to visit him since September so she was unsure of where to go and getting frustrated and not paying attention causing her to run her very first red light! After that driving with her was a complete mess, she was shaky and unsure about everything, which really put the stress not only on me but on Lesley too! Oh well, we got there safe and sound and had a nice supper with my cousin, his fiance and her daughter and my 4 month old niece (The picture doesn't even begin to show how adorable she is!) I hadn't gone to visit him for about 3 years and I got to check out the new house that they built and I just have to say wowzers! I wish I am that rich when I'm in my early thirties! Gorgeous Gorgeous house, all really nice and dark and modern, beautiful. It was very nice to get away for the day and man oh man I did not want to go home and have to face the disater area that awaited me...Which I still haven't completely conquered. :(
