Almost Spring!

In just 2 hours it will be the first day of Spring!

Wonderful, if you ask me!

I'm sick of the snow nd ice and just not being able to walk outside without help from Lesley

And also Spring is meaning that the baby is growing closer to coming out

tomorrow will be 35 weeks that it has been growing in me

and I'm getting so anxious for it to come

since starting maternity leave I have begun watching all of the baby shows

a baby story, the mom show, bringig home baby

you name it

it's so hard watching them though

because I'm sick of waiting and those just make it even harder

I just can't wait to have my baby

seriously, It's so ridiculous!

Oh well soon enough

I'm getting so pumped to

get to buy my crib and stuff soon

and my etsy stuff is coming in

so the room should be done sometime next week

but Les keeps on saying how he thinks we should move back with his mom

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

but he wants to move soon cuz

"we can'd afford our apartment"

Which wouldn't be so bad

but he still can't find a job

and with me on mat leave not bringing in enough money,

we might be screwed

but things may be looking up

he has an interview with a carpenter tomorrow

I'm praying he will get this job

I hate having to lie to my family about him working

but I just don't feel lke dealing with it all right now

So soon hopefully things will be getting better

just a hopin' & prayin!

and I' m going to Slave Lake tomorrow

for the weekend

it will be nice to go see all of my family and friends

me and Les should have a break too

plus its Carson's birthday party,

he turned 2 today!

It's crazy, where has the time gone!?!

imagine, in no time at all it will be my baby's second birthday!

That is if it ever decides to join us!

anyways I better get going home

off to bed for me!

Week 34! (38 Days Left!)

So here I am 34 Weeks preggo
Haven't been able to update this
like at all
I have to go on at my bf's mom's house
but good news
my gramma is giving me her old computer
so hopefully everything will work out
and soon I will be able to update every day
since maternity leave is quite simple, easy, boring at times
I don't do much at all
clean, make food
hang with my babies
:)
I had a doctor's appointment last week
he said that the baby is doing really good
still head down
and it's heart beat is at 136 bpm
good good
still no signs at all that the baby is coming any time soon :(
I'm getting so excited and I'm so ready
I saw the cutest baby the other day and couldnt stop starring
but oh well its still growing and getting even bigger and better
and I can't wait!!!
And today I found out that my etsy order is ready and will be shipped
probably tomorrow!!!
So excited!!!!
I will have everything in no time at all
now all i need is my baby!
and my crib and change table I guess...
but tabi and my gramma are buying us brand new ones from Ikea when they come up next
so it is going to be done soon!!!
can't wait!
anyways here's what's happening during week 34!

I thought I would show some more things that I had gotten for the baby

before I can't post pictures again for who knows how long..

This is the up close of the bed spread I had bought for the room from Ikea...

This is the border my mom got me for the room

it doesnt really go though

she's very proud of it though

so I find some way to incoorporate it...

This is the outfit we bought for when the baby comes home from the hospital...

we now have some pink newborn onesies

so maybe I'll pack some of those just incase...

but this is cute and it comes with everything it will need...

and from what Milly tells me it will be a boy

and NOT to name it Liam

anything else other than Liam

but she doesn't know why

lol

This is the other outfit we bought

it's from Old Navy/H&M

we bought it and thought it could work for both

buts it's definitaley more for a little boy

it is so cute though

I want a boy just so he could wear it!

It actually reminds me of my sister..

if that's not weird lol

And this is the safety 1 pack and play we bought yesterday

it's like the safety first dream play play yard or something

me & Lesley both loved it

the colors and such

it was our first pick

plus it is a play yard/change table/ bassinet all in one

so it will be good when we head back north

to visit and such

I love it

I want the carseat and stroller that match!

Hopefully someone will get it as a shower present...

since I've been dropping so many hints lol

I set it all up by myself last night

took alot out of me but I did it all by myself :)

I was so proud I told Les as soon as he came home lol

and I got it all set up for when baby comes

put the diapers and towels and everything in there

getting it ready,

I'm getting so excited!

Though I am going to have to move some stuff around since thats where this will be until the baby is moved to its crib

so our room may be a little of centered for a bit...

oh well

I think this was better than buying a bassinet and play yard

Most of the art for the babies room!

These are the pictures I ordered from ebay and lucky I found perfect sized frames

right after I picked them up

that fit them perfectly

they are too cute,

hopefully they will hang good though...

And I also got to get more canvas's and make new pictures

and complete some old ones aswell

I picked them up at the dollar store for like 2 bucks

totally worth it

Les says I should see them then buy the baby more

but too bad

I made them for my baby

I don't want to give them to someone else!

I also picked up some cute little figurines and a piggybank

that will match the babies room aswell!

Hopefully they will look alright in the babies room

there is alot of blue though...

I didn't want them to be to girly just incase

Bath Time with Riddles & Cars!

This is from my trip back up to Slave a few weeks ago

One of my bf's mom's friend's came to my work today

amd dropped off 2 big diaper boxes of clothes for the bambino

& I kind of have this thing

where I'm addicted to buying/ recieving anything for the baby

I'm kind of obsessive

when ever I go anywhere that has baby things I want it all!

though we don't have the money

and well It has been sitting here ever since I got to work at 5:30

and I want to go threw it SO bad

but I'm at work

suppose to be working

& since everyone is on such high alert for getting fired right now I don't want to risk it

but really! It's not like I have anything to do anyways!!!

I'm so tempted and I can't remember what I was going to do

I really just want to go look threw them

...I bet if this RTOC dude wasn't here I would have hours ago...

oh well I'll just get barely any sleep AGAIN tonight

because the temptaion is killing me

So I'll just go threw them as sooon as I get home :)

Doctor's Appointment

OH BaBy, BaBy, BaBy!
Just wanted to remember to update on how my little bambino is doing
I went to the doctor last Friday
Did my blood pressure and weight and
I Lost a pound?
That freak me out!!!
I haven't been doing anymore exercise
so I don't know how it happened
I have gained an exessive amount of weight during my pregnancy
Like 36 pounds
but still, I don't care as much about the weight
as my bambino!
The doctor didn't say anything about it though...
So maybe it's because I was eating less or something?
Who knows...
but my doctor came and measured my belly and checked baby's beat
it was at 158bpm.
And I was measuring perfectly
& the doctor told me that we were doing so good
he actually said we were making this pregnancy to easy on him :D
So I am very VERY happy
& hope my baby keeps on truckin' Y

Only 3 Days Left!

So I got the OK today from my boss,

SATURDAY IS MY LAST DAY!

It originally was supposed to be April 13,

but due to stress at work,

so much god damn drama going around here,

I have literally been sick every day

I can't handle it

and I need a break

+ I am really REALLY tired

and I need to start nesting

so I shall start my maternity leave on March 12

but I get 4 days of paid vacation

which will be from the 9-12 of March

so technically my last day should be on Wednesday

but I am going to come and do a day shift for a girl

and get paid time and a half all day

and that will then be my last actual day of working :)

Well if I can get him to sign the vacation day sheet

(I'm scared he may just be trying to screw me over)

but I am going to talk to payroll about that

and then soon I will be free for a year :)

God, I have never been so excited lol

just means that the babes is coming!!!

Oh but since I am going on leave that will mean not very many entries

at all...until we invest in a computer

maybe when my pay starts a comin'...

oh well, the price I pay for a baby :D

So now its time for some decorations!

So I had this idea in my head
where you know when people have a bunch of pictures all in random order
in one little area
all grouped together
so I bought some pictures
and well I am not sure if I will actually do that
but I figure I can set them up some how
and they were really cute
I loved these ones
I found them on ebay
they were only like $10 or around there
and free shipping
which was sweet
and although they may look more girly
I really like them
and think they are cute
and I'm sure I could make them more for a boy
I can't wait for them to arrive!

Then I found these on ebay too

they were only like $5 but them shipping was more than what said

and I paid over $25 for just shipping!

I was pretty pissed because it said it was only like $11

and then I dunno they make you get insurance I think

who knows

but anyways after I bid I regret them

they aren't like really ugly or what not

but they aren't that cool

I could buy some for less

or make my own

and now well I'm more worried because I sent the chick 2 messages about them

inquiring how long it would take to ship

and no response

so then I checked her feed back

and although she was at a 97%

lots of people complained about how she wouldnt not respond to emails

AT ALL

and how some didn't even recieve there pictures

and how shipping took like 2 months

So I'm going to be really angry if I don't get them

because well I paid all of that money

anyways these are them:

So I like to look at people's nursery's to get ideas for mine

and I like how people have chinese lanterns

but they are sooo expensive!

But I did find some for only $10 for 12 on ebay

they are little though I think something like 3.5X2.5

but still not bad

and I can use them for something

so I got some of them

in orange

to give the room more color :)

and well tie the orange in

they are called pumpkin lanterns or something but I hope they will look cute

when I decide what I'm going to do with them

And then I have heard about a different light to well have on for feedings at night that aren't as harsh as a normal ceiling light

So I do have some that I will be putting in the baby's room from my old room

I have one of those paper star things

that hang off of the ceiling

that is blue green and purple

but you can'tr really tell the purple so it should work for a boy

and then I also have a blue and green lava lamp :)

I thought it would match and be a funky accessory

but Also I wanted to put some red in the room because well

It may help it look more girly if thats what I have

and also I just want it to be colorful

so I go these lamps:

There are 12 all together and were only like $13

being shipped from australia

they are just little cool lantern thingers

so I figure I am going to hang it from that ledge thing that comes off the deiling

but nothing is certain yet

I thought they would look cool

and maybe I can incoorporate the orange lanterns with them :)

Anyways I am a very do-it-yourself person

though I don't know how to do much

but the one thing I can somewhat do is paint

and well because I don't have much money

and I want things with meaning for the baby

I decided to paint some pictures myself for the room

I had to use two olf canvas's that were used for pictures before

and well they aren't in the best condition

but oh well

I am attempting to get les to take me tot he dollar store to pick up more

that where I got them originally

but I thought I would use these ones for now and painted them the other night while me and lesley were watching house :)

Ya my camera is out of batteries and I have neglected to re-find the charger
so I used my cell phone
which takes horrible pictures
these are actually much MUCH brighter in person
and you can't tell all of the imperfections
and well to tell you the truth look 1 000 000x better than what they do in these pictures
but I think you get the just
and asap I want to paint some more
just need more paint
and canvas's :)

Anyways maybe once I get started putting it all together I can show more of how it will look :)

Okay so now we move on to the bedding...

& went a LITTLE overboard
Okay so I bought this duvet cover and pillow case set originally
because well it was new and on ebay for only $10.00
and wanted to buy bedding before more people felt inclined
it may look like flowers from far away,
but actually it is fish, sharks and turtles :)
I'm not doing an underwater theme but its cute and colorful
and it works so its all good :)

Well after I bid on that bedding I went on etsy and found this really cool seller
I follow her blog and she custom makes her anything you want
and she just has some really cool stuff on her site
I would buy more but well,
I'm not made of money
but her stuff isn't to expensive and is really cool

Anyways ya i stumbled on her site

and got her to make me 2 custom made baby blankets
the first was only $50 and its really nice

its not too fluffy either for baby

Anyways the other side is going to be this cool japanese fabric:

I got to pick it out myself and I really liked it because well it was colorful and had lots of crazy animals

Turtles, owls, and even Llamas!!!

This will be on the opposite side of the lime green minky

it will be in squares with other black material

(I wanted black and white because I have been hearing that contrasting colors cause your baby to use its brain more, and help with developement)

So I am stoked about that blanket and then I figured I should get another made

toi use at home or when we go on walks

and baby needs a cute blanket to cover up with so I am getting her to make me a fleece blanket

on one side it will have this material:

Originally I had some dotted material picked out

but it wasn't really that cute

wasn't fleece

and was really expensive

but them I found that material and I was colorful, cute, ON SALE

and fleece

originally the blanket was only fleece on one side and a material of your choice on the other

but the material of my choice was fleece too so I'm more excited

nice and soft for baby

and then ya the other cide to this blanket is going to be orange

I know the room must sounds really like random and all over the place right now but don't worry

that's how I do things

I just buy things

and in the end make it all come together

don't worry

I assure you the finished product won't be that bad :)

The one dilemma though is that I have all of this bedding

yet we don't have a crib...

We did have an arangement to get one

but that went to shit

so I am attempting to get one as we speak

I have emailed about one 2 times already

its a white ikea crib and dresser/change table

for $100 off of kijiji

but she hasn't responded :(

hopefully she will soon because I want it by this weekend!

its just very plain and modern

not in a bad way plain

but nice and simple i guess

I have wanted white alll along!

So hpefully I'll get an answer back before Wednesday...
